How This All Started
I flew Tornado jets for the German Air Force and then F-111 for teh US Air Force in an exchange program, then traded the cockpit for an executive role in a software company when my military career ended. After four years of executive employment, I started my own consulting firm—and immediately faced a problem:
How do I build wealth for retirement without being affected by stock market volatility?
Real estate was prohibitively expensive in Santa Barbara until Chris Clothier’s The Turnkey Revolution showed me I could invest anywhere. My wife and I built a portfolio ‘Out-of-State’. Friends noticed. By 2015, they were asking for help with building their own passive income portfolios, so I launched Ideal Wealth Grower™.
Fast forward to 2026: AI isn’t just advancing—it’s accelerating us toward what Elon Musk calls the Age of Abundance in his Master Plan 4.
We are witnessing a fundamental shift in how wealth is created and preserved.
That’s why my investment philosophy has crystallized around five pillars designed for this new era:

Why did I start this publication?
